I like trees; there, I said it.

But how can we help trees?
-Plant trees!
-Encouraging your local government officials to protect trees in your area.
-Paperless billing.
-Use libraries or buy second hand books or use e-books.
-Use less paper
-Support tree-planting organizations like the Arbor Day Foundation
-Walk or bike more.
-Adopt a tree!
Sure, but do trees even help us?
-They produce oxygen so I'd say that's pretty helpful.
-Forests help filter our water.
-Trees give habitats for birds, animals and insects.
-Being around trees reduces our anxiety.
-Many trees have healing properties.
-Homes with trees are worth more.
-Trees provide fruits and nuts.
-Trees give us paper, wood, rubber and other products.
Two books that helped spark my love of trees are:
"Trees are as close to immortality as the rest of us ever come."
― Karen Joy Fowler
